Talking about environmental crises in IELTS

I’ve been reading that Singapore is going through an environmental crisis right now. Apparently, the PSI (Pollutant Standards Index) level for air quality has now reached above 300, which is hazardous. The forest fires in Sumatra have been known to be the cause of this and there’s been talk about a Stop-work order by the government to encourage people to remain indoors. To all my friends and readers in Singapore, I hope you’ll be able to breathe easy soon 🙁
